Taylor & Francis is dedicated to making the research we publish as widely discoverable as possible. It is important that high-quality enriched content is published, but equally important that it can be easily discovered and reaches the right people through available channels.
That is why Taylor & Francis can supply lists of our products in KBART II-compliant files. We support the NISO KBART II standard (“Knowledge Bases and Related Tools”) which is the recommended practice that facilitates the transfer of holdings file from content providers to knowledge base suppliers or Entitlement records to librarians.
We are able to provide KBART files based on our published holdings split out into collections or KBART or by Institutional Licence and Entitlement. These lists can be uploaded and maintained by librarians and eResources managers within the chosen Library Management Service (LMS) so that users can seamlessly follow up links to content, for example in citations, for ease of content discoverability.
Complete KBART Holdings can be provided to any Library Management Service Supplier who support that standard. Listed below are examples of some of the vendors we provide KBART Holdings lists to:
- Serials Solutions
- Ex Libris (SFX)
- Innovative Interfaces Webbridge
- True Serials
