Academic Faculty: Textbook & Course Materials Affordability Survey Report

The objective of this survey was to determine the level of concern that college faculty have about course material affordability issues and whether they are utilizing digital resources (particularly those made available through the library) to keep costs down for students. The report discusses cost concerns for faculty, students and campus libraries, the impact of digital resources, advantages of social media, relationships of faculty and campus librarians and how it affects student performance. These and more are all outlined with detailed and colorful graphs and charts that summarize the survey.
